Culture and language
The Mohawk Culture wasn't exactly too complicated. Their Festivals revolved around the cycle of nature. They have 11 annual festivals, including the New Year Festival, the Maple Festival, Strawberry Festival, the Green Corn Festival, and many more. All of these festivals occur because of the Weather and Agricultural (the Mohawks were farming people) changes. An important part of the Mohawk's culture were the Shamans. These people were said to be "holy messengers" of the gods. They interpreted visions and dreams. The Mohawks speak an Iroquoian language called Mohawk (Kanien'keha).
